Mail Day 02/25/23

Only got one card in today, and yes it is serial numbered. Today's card is a 2021 Topps Gallery MLB Originals Blue, #'d 46/99.

Cool.

Mail Day 02/24/23

Got a trio of numbered cards in the mail today. You know how I love those. First up is a 1999 Upper Deck 10th Anniversary Team Double, numbered 2797/4000. I have seven of these now:

Mail Day 02/21/23

Long weekend, lots to get caught up on. First up is a 1996 Pinnacle Zenith Artist Proof. I love AP's and press proofs for some reason. I now have four of these:

Mail Day 02/13/23

Got a base card and a few numbered parallels today. After 2000 I didn't really collect that hard anymore so there were a lot of sets that came out that I just flatly missed. One example is this 2004 UD Yankees Classics #67. Here's the base card for that set:

Mail Day 02/11/23

Today I got a need, a want, and something... interesting? Well first up is one of those cards I see and go wait, I don't have that yet? It is a 1997 Fleer Ultra Fielder's Choice.

These were apparently one in every 144 series 1 packs, so I don't exactly know a print run.

Mail Day 02/09/23

Only one in the mail today and it's another one of those I get for $1 usually. I'm a sucker for Donruss, especially serial numbered ones. This is (yet another) 2021 Donruss Red and White Stripes, numbered 0056/2021.

I now have 25 of these.

Mail Day 02/07/23

Nice one in the mail today. This is a 2005 Leaf Certified Materials Mirror Gold, serial numbered to just 12 of 25. This is a beautiful card.

Mail Day 02/06/23

Only one item in the mail today, which is a card some people might see as pointless. It is a PSA graded 1988 Donruss MVP Bonus Card. Looks like this:

I know it's only a PSA 7, but it filled a hole in my graded card collection. I try to get a graded copy of every Boggs card that was a mail in, or a weird size (like 1989 Bowman or Topps Big), or from his very early years where condition might be hard to come by. Lots of time you never knew what the condition would be when you got a mail in set. And those weird Bowman/Big cards were hard to keep mint in my notebooks because they didn't fit the pages.

Mail Day 02/03/23

Only one card came trickling in today and it is one of those that I pick up for like a buck all the time. Nobody seems to want them, but I will take a serial numbered card cheap every time! This one is a 1998 SPx Finite Radiance #'d 1990/4500. I now have nine of these.

Mail Day 02/01/2023

I was holding off from buying anything last week as I was trying to put all my funds into a Holy Grail item, which I missed out on (ugh). So now some items are slowly starting to trickle in. First up is one card I always seem to grab for a buck. It is a 2000 Finest - Finest Moments refractor.

Yeah, I now have 36 of these...

Next up is actually some thing off my wantlist: a 2000 Topps Home Team Advantage #239 (1988 Battling Title). Now I only need 2000th Hit and 1996 World Series to finish out this set.

Last up is a set I know nothing about. It is a 2011 In the Game Heroes and Prospects Game Used Jersey Silver. It supposedly has a print run of 160, but it is not numbered in any way. Guess I'll take their word for it. Looks like this:
