Mail Day 01/26/23

Just got one card in today but it's a cool one. This a 1998 Pacific Omega Face to Face:

I may be in a small group here, but I loved Pacific cards. I thought they looked hella better than boring ole common releases from the Big 3 back then.

Mail Day 01/23/23

Mail Day has brought me two more for my collection. First up is a 2000 Topps Limited Edition Combos (print run 4000).

I had to double check, but this actually completes my set of these cards as I have the base, chrome and chrome refractor versions as well. I may be wrong but I did not see a Home Team Advantage version. Awesome.

Next up is this 2014 Panini Hall of Fame 75th Year Anniversary Crusades Red, serial numbered 29/75. I also have 27/75.

Mail Day 01/20/23

Got a large batch in that I ordered off comc.com and a few others today. First up is a 1994 Topps Spanish #603 (I still need #'s 386 and 520):

The next two are both from 1996 Stadium Club, and both Member's Only parallels. One is the base card #96, and the other is the Midsummer Matchup insert. Unfortunately Boggs is on the back of that card so the logo is on the other side. At least they didn't make two versions!

Next card up is the only serial numbered one I got today. It is yet another 1998 Topps Stars Bronze (7912/9799). I now have 20 of them.

Next up is a pair of 2000 Topps Limited Editions ('83 Batting Title and 2000th Hit). Now I only need 1988 Batting Title and 1996 World Series to complete this set.

And finally from 2022 Stadium Club another parallel base card. This one the sepia version.

Mail Day 01/19/23

Quite a few came in the mail today so I'll just start with the oldest and work my way forward. First up is this 1995 Donruss Top of the Order. I guess it was used to play some kind of sim game?

Next up (and coolest of the bunch) is a 2000 Stadium Club Capture the Action Game View, serial #'d 21/100. It has a slide that I'm guessing is the actual game where the pic on the card comes from.

The next one is a 2016 Topps High Tek Green Rainbow Diffractor, #'d 85/99.

Next up is a 2016 Topps Legacies of Baseball Lasting Imprints, serial numbered 57/99.

And finally a 2018 Donruss Blank Back, which I didn't even know was a thing.

Mail Day 01/18/23

Only one card today, but it's one I can knock off my wantlist: 1996 Bowman's Best Atomic Refractor!

Yup!

Mail Day 01/17/23

Still having scanner issues but I was able to get it to work long enough to get these two new beauties scanned and uploaded. First up is this banger 2006 SP Legendary Cuts Legendary Materials Gold, serial numbered 157/225. Gorgeous card.

Next up is this 2005 Playoff Absolute Memorabilia Tools of the Trade Reverse Spectrum Red (yeah that's a ridiculous parallel), serial numbered 38/50.

Mail Day 01/13/2023

My scanner has been on the fritz so I have had a backlog of cards to update here. Unfortunately that issue still hasn't been resolved so all I can do is list the Boggs items that have come in and can hopefully update with pics later.

Here's what I've got this week:

1999 Topps Stars #54 Foil (embossed 47/299)

2000 Topps Home Team Advantage #3, #239 ('83 Batting Title), and #458

2000 Topps Limited Edition #239 (3000th Hit)

2004 Donruss Classics Legendary Lumberjacks (437/1000)

2018 Topps High Tek Pattern 1, Magma Diffractor, Orbit Diffractor, Pattern 3

2022 Topps Archives Silver #179 (01/99)

Mail Day 01/06/23

Only one card today, but it's a beauty. This is a 1997 Donruss Elite Gold Stars but the scanner really doesn't do it justice.

I also found out that this is the error version of the card, as the the Donruss Elite logo on the front is silver as opposed to gold. That's on my wantlist too, but at least I get to knock one more card off of it.

Mail Day 01/05/2023

Two cards in the mail today, both serial numbered, one new and one a bit older. First up is a 2022 Topps Archives Rainbow Foil (75/199).

One of the earliest sets I ever collected as a kid was 1978 Topps so it's always been one of my favorites. Having a Boggs in this design is definitely a winner for me.

Next up is a 2005 Topps Retired Signature Edition Gold (197/500). I have two other copies of this card because I loved #'d parallels.

Mail Day 01/03/23

First mail of the new year brought me a 1998 Leaf Fractal Materials numbered 229/500.

I now have five of these, but as I was updating my inventory the database has these listed as a print run of 400, but serial numbered to 500. What happened to the other 100? I don't have anything serial numbered below 136 so I am guessing the first 100 cards were used for something else? I'll have to research this more.

Mail Day 12/30/22

Got something from a new product and an older serial numbered card from a set with many, many different parallels. First up is this black foil version from 2022 Stadium Club:

I add this to my previous base card plus the red foil version that I picked up recently.

Next up is this 2004 Leaf Certified Materials Fabric of the Game #119 AL/NL:

As you can see, this is serial numbered 017/100. It also completed my set of AL/NL cards from this set as I have #120 (Red Sox) and #199 (Devil Rays).
